Adam Chamberlain appointed President of Aston Martin The Americas

  • Experienced Sales and Product Management executive joins Aston Martin from Mercedes-Benz USA
  • Chamberlain takes the helm of the ultra-luxury brand’s largest global market as it celebrates its 70th anniversary of selling cars in North America

18 November 2021 - Gaydon, UK: Adam Chamberlain has been appointed as the new President of Aston Martin The Americas (AMTA) with immediate effect. The British-born automotive executive joins Aston Martin from Mercedes-Benz USA where he was Vice President Sales & Product Management for the past five years.

Prior to joining Mercedes-Benz, Chamberlain has worked in the automotive industry for over 17 years.

Chamberlain joins Aston Martin as the brand celebrates its 70th anniversary in the North American market. In those seven decades Aston Martin has become a treasured favourite amongst luxury sports car enthusiasts, collectors and has developed a strong and loyal customer base.

Aston Martin Chief Executive Officer, Tobias Moers, said: “Adam is a strong leader with a deep understanding of the industry and a proven track record in the important American luxury sports car market. As we continue to transform Aston Martin, I know Adam will ensure our customers continue to experience an exceptional customer journey and deliver on our strong ambitions for our biggest market.”

An important aspect of Aston Martin’s transformation plan – ‘Project Horizon’ – is in the brand and commercial areas and Chamberlain’s experience will keep AMTA on an upward trajectory. North America is the largest market for Aston Martin, where the brand is experiencing significant growth. Now, over a third of all Aston Martin cars sold, are destined for the region. With 35 dedicated dealers in the US, five in Canada and in locations including Mexico, Chile, Peru and Brazil, Aston Martin has been pleased to see strong sales, not only of its famed sports cars, but also its first SUV, the Aston Martin DBX.
